Ah, America. Home of the free, land of the brave, domicile of the utterly confusing.

Every country has its quirks and America is no exception. We've got plenty of examples of things that leave the rest of the world utterly perplexed. Things like how absolutely massive our portion sizes and sodas are - not to mention the sheer amounts of sugar and/or corn syrup that are injected into literally everything. Then there's more serious stuff like going into massive, life-ruining medical debt because you had a serious illness and/or a baby.

These are things we Americans live with every day and don't really question, but it's the kind of stuff that leaves people from other countries scratching their heads.

It's not all bad though - there are also plenty of things other countries admire about America too!
